What is NEXTURN?
NEXTURN is a free web service that helps you find your next game from what you already love. Drag and drop the games on screen to sort them, rate them on a 5-point scale, and the recommendation engine analyzes your taste — genres, themes, game modes and perspectives — to suggest games you will enjoy. No account required; it runs right in your browser. Available in Japanese and English.
How to use
- 1Drag the games on screen into the "Played" or "Unplayed" area to sort them.
- 2Rate the games you have played on a 5-point scale.
- 3After rating a certain number of games, recommendations matched to your taste keep coming.
- 4Place games that catch your eye in the "Interested" / "Want to Play" zones to build your own game map.

Analyzes the genres, themes, keywords, game modes and perspectives of the games you rated to find titles that fit your taste — with a few unexpected picks mixed in on purpose.
Search
Find games by Japanese or English titles, with multi-step matching such as katakana-to-English conversion.

Narrow down by platform, genre and release year.
Share
Generate a share image of your favorite games and post your game map on social media.
AI analysis
Copy a ready-made prompt of your ratings with one click and paste it into ChatGPT or other AIs for a deeper taste analysis.
Data & privacy
Game data comes from the IGDB database. Your ratings are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent to a server.
